We DID it.
The scariest thing I have ever done is writing and staging a musical about my life only to get a horrendous cold 4 days before. I spent the whole weekend before the premiere with my head over a bowl of steaming water praying I’d have enough voice to carry me through the premiere of LOVE STORY. I also watched a LOT of footage of Taylor Swift performing sick. I guess I’m going to have to get used to it.
My prayers were answered. My voice held out and we nailed it. Thank you to everyone who came, clapped, laughed, cried and got on your feet for us at the end. As a self-taught poetess, performer, playwright, comedienne and composer, there is nothing more amazing than the feeling I get when I know an audience is with me as I perform.
Tickets are now on sale for the next viewing of LOVE STORY on October 15th. I cannot wait to see you there. Thank you so much to all of you who come back to my shows, and to those of you who bring new people and introduce new audiences to my work. I am forever grateful.
This is your last chance to see LOVE STORY in 2024 (but don’t worry, we will be back 😘)
Come treat yourself to a night off scrolling on your phones to luxuriate in love, glamour and friendship. Bring your besties to the magnificent Sommerro Hotel! Come blossom with me.
