Dear Dream,
Please excuse my delayed response! All this time I thought I was waiting for you but it turns out you were in fact waiting for me! You’ve been here this whole time! Sneaky dream 😘
Once again, I have been looking in all the wrong places, but I suppose that’s the point of looking isn’t it - you just have to keep looking until you find what you are looking for. I also had no idea I didn’t need to wait for permission to start creating my way to you and that, in fact, it’s always just going to be a series of tiny creative steps and a whole lot of mistakes and dead ends. I didn’t know you lived in the small moments, and the big lessons. I just thought you were some great big shiny thing I had to race to. No wonder I kept running out of steam!
As you know, I’ve managed to make the necessary practical and spiritual arrangements to be able to know you again, like I did as a child. It was difficult but I managed it and I learned the things I needed to learn to be able to find you. If it had been any easier I’d almost certainly not have been up to the task of working with you. I’ve been practicing clearing my head and cultivating courage and wisdom. I think I have enough courage now to make the next part of the trip with you but I might need some extra supplies along the way if you can provide them.
I promise to treat you with the same love, respect, honesty and patience you have always shown me. And above all, I promise to have fun and to do it all for the right reason this time: love.
